Joel has over 12- years experience as a physiotherapist, including more than 6 years of running his own practice. He has worked with sports physicians, doctors, rheumatologists and other allied health professions for optimal patient outcomes.
Joel originally became interested in the McKenzie method after personally experiencing sciatica and back pain, including a full rupture of the disc (sequestration). After suffering chronic sciatica and back pain that failed to improve despite various physiotherapy and other treatments, he discovered the McKenzie Method and now manages his back problem well!
